John Halters

Mr. Halters was born in Arlington Heights, IL. He was raised in Batavia, IL, and graduated from Batavia High School. He has experience working with people of all ages, from children of preschool age up to elderly seniors age. He previously worked as a Classroom Assistant at Batavia Nursery School for over two years.

Before he joined our team at the Ivy Academy, he worked at a retirement home, Holmstad, in Batavia for 3 years. Mr. Halters is CPR and First Aid certified and is working his way to obtaining his CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate. He enjoys working with children and enjoys playing sports in his spare time.

All direct care staff are trained in CPR and First Aid.
