Help Us Kick Off Summer with a Paper Drive
Summer is just around the corner, and we’re getting ready for a season full of learning, laughter, and fun. At both The Ivy Academy and North End Youth Center, our students enjoy hands-on activities, outdoor play, art projects, and more during the summer months. But with more activity comes more need for supplies—and that’s where you come in!
We’re excited to announce our Summer Paper Drive, and we’d love your help to make it a success.
What Is a Paper Drive?
A paper drive is a way for families and community members to donate everyday items we use in our classrooms and programs. These items help us run smoothly, especially when summer gets busy. Paper products, plates, cups, and napkins may seem small, but we go through them fast when there are snacks to serve, art to make, and messes to clean!
By donating, you’re helping us keep our spaces well-stocked and ready for fun. You’re also helping us save money so we can use more of our budget for things that matter most—our students.
What Items Can You Donate?
We are collecting a variety of supplies, including:
- Paper and plastic: plates, napkins, cups, forks, spoons
- Paper products: copy paper, construction paper, coloring or scratch paper
- Clean-up supplies: paper towels, toilet paper, tissue boxes
All donations, big or small, make a difference.
Why It Matters
In the summer, we do more than just keep kids busy—we help them learn, grow, and explore. Whether it’s a painting project in the classroom or a picnic snack in the sunshine, these activities all depend on having the right supplies.
This drive is a chance to give back and be part of something special. It also teaches our children the value of community and working together to support others. When students see families helping, they learn what it means to be generous and kind.
These items are used every day at both centers. Your support helps make sure we have what we need to keep things running smoothly and safely all summer long.
How You Can Help
Starting now, donations can be dropped off at any Ivy Academy or North End Youth Center location during regular hours. Look for the labeled bins near the entrance. Not sure what to bring? Just ask—we’re happy to help.
If you’re unable to stop by in person, you can contact our team to arrange another way to give. Every contribution matters and is greatly appreciated.
