General parent information for all classrooms


Clothing

  • No sandals or open toe shoes All articles must be labelled with the child's name
  • Clothing must be comfortable and casual
  • Gym shoes with non-marking soles
  • Jackets proper for the season, with hoods, hats, gloves if necessary
  • One set of extra clothes in case of accidents in a labelled small backpack

State Forms

The following must be completed and submitted to the center by the first day of attendance.

  • Child's Physical records (stamped and signed in the appropriate places, and dated within six months of enrollment)
  • Child's Inoculation records (stamped and signed in the appropriate places, and dated within six months of enrollment)
  • Child's Birth records/certificate
  • State of Illinois Certificate of Child Health Examination (Download here)

Attendance

Parents will be expected to notify the center of any trips or extended illness which might affect the child's attendance at the center. If a child is absent for more than one week without such notification, the child's space will be replaced by another from our waiting list.

Arrival/Departure

For safety reasons, please sign in and wash your child's hand, before escorting them to class. remember to sign them out as well.

  • Your child is expected to be in class no later than 9:00 am
  • Parents must state arrival and departure times on the application.
  • Any variation of more than 30 minutes, or past the center's closing time, must be reported to the center at least one hour prior to stated times.

Holidays

Standard Holidays that we will be closed for the current school year.

  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • The week between Christmas and New Years day
  • New Years Eve
  • New Years Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day (and the Friday after)
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
